Students meet innovators to discuss 3D printing and robotics

As part of their current art unit on creative thinking, Grade 4 students visited Makerstown, a new technology and innovations fair at Autoworld, this week. They had fun trying on the latest virtual reality glasses (Gisa even won the raffle and went home with a pair).

They met and discussed with many inventors, designers and scientists and discovered the latest drones, androids, eco 3D printers, digital musical instruments for disabled and many other amazing innovations. They participated to a workshop on robotics and 3D printing and had lots of fun designing a chair.
