St. John’s hosts conference for educators from around the world

This past weekend, St. John’s hosted the Educational Collaborate for International Schools (ECIS) Early Childhood conference. More than 250 educators from around the world gathered at our school for two days of workshops and presentations related to early childhood education.

Several of our own teachers presented and others took participants on a field trip to Fondation Folon. Many of our own early childhood teachers attended the conference to take advantage of the wealth of information and experience available on campus for their own professional development.

Our Timbertops students featured in the opening ceremony with a welcome in various languages, a song about chocolate, painting on stage and a drum session.

Thank you to our Kindergarten teacher Julia Gardner who is part of the 4-person ECIS Early Childhood conference who was instrumental in making this conference a success.
