The MHS Library theme this year is: ‘The power of books to change lives for the better’.
To celebrate World Book Day school staff were asked to share their reading habits and book choices through a short survey, which asked:
1) What is the title of your favourite childhood book?
2) What is the title of last book you gave as a gift?
3) Is there a particular book or author which has made a lasting impression on you? Please give the title or name of the author.
The results ranged through all genres, from non-fiction to fantasy to poetry and the reasons given for the last question proved how much of an impact a particular book or author can have on our lives. You can see some of the responses in the display we created to celebrate the joy of reading in our St. John’s community. Why not come by the library and try out some of the books!
