Eighth graders write book for younger students

The Grade 8 students have completed a project in French class. They have written a book for young children and are now sharing their book with our Kindergarten and Grade 1 Dual Language Program students.

On Monday morning they visited the DLP class in Kindergarten to read the books they had written in French to the younger students. For some of the eighth graders, this brought back some fond memories of their own time in Timbertops.

Luis said, “I have many happy memories and it feels just like it did when I was in Kindergarten.”

The younger students enjoyed the stories too. Lucie said “I liked them reading the stories. I enjoyed the ice-skating book. I asked lots of questions.”

Well done, 8th graders!
