IB History classes visit Berlin

St. John’s IB History classes went to Berlin November 11-13 to experience the historical sights of Berlin. We took a three hour guided walk from the Brandenburg Gate, taking in the Reichstag , Hitler’s Bunker and the Jewish Memorial. We also visited the Jewish Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Stasi (East German secret Police) Museum .

This is the first time that we have organised a trip of this nature – 31 students came along and it was a great success. Next year – perhaps Moscow/St. Petersburg or Auschwitz?
