The High School staff goes conkers

An average Friday lunch period turned into a fun one for High School faculty when one of the teachers suggested a game of conkers.

Conkers is a traditional game in Britain and Ireland played using chestnuts. The game is played by two players, each with a conker threaded onto a piece of string: they take turns striking each other’s conker until one breaks.

Some teachers thought they could gain an advantage by manipulating the chestnut, but ended up injuring themselves in the process.
