Great ISST results for the St. John’s spring sports teams

The St. John’s spring sports teams had very successful end-of-year ISST tournaments : Tennis St. John’s swept the two singles titles. Overall, the boys finished second, the girls finished second and the team also finished in second place out of the 6 schools. Golf St. John’s was back at the ISST Golf championship for the first time since 2007. There was a 3rd place (bronze medal) out of 66 players (boys and girls)! Students raise 1370 Euro for Alsemberg Refugee Center

Grade 11 students Maria and Astrid presented a check for 1370 euros to Dorien Stevens from the Alsemberg Red Cross Refugee Center last week on behalf of the HS students in 11th and 12th grade from their fund raising activities for CAS. How we can avoid wasting food in Elementary School

My name is Bérangère and I am in fifth grade. For the PYP Exhibition I have chosen to study food waste. Sixth grade French classes welcome local students

Recently, 30 students from the Primary Maransart School came to school for a linguistic and cultural exchange. Grade 7 students meet Jane Goodall at the European Parliament

As the conclusion to  our electronics recycling campaign, 20 students got the opportunity to hear Jane Goodall, famous primatologist and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, at the European Parliament on May 7th. After the presentation of projects by 8 different schools, she thanked everyone for their contribution to respect every individual : humans, animals and environment.  She also stressed the importance of building bridges between cultures. In the afternoon, students visited the Parliamentarium to get acquainted with the organization of the European Parliament.
